QIP 2010 Rump Session

For the first time in the history of QIP, QIP 2010 will feature a "rump session". The rump session is intended to be an informal session (2-3 hours) in which participants give short presentations on recent results, work in progress, and other topics of interest to the QIP community, e.g., workshop announcements. Non-technical and humorous presentations are encouraged. The length of a rump-session presentation should be anything between 2 and 10 minutes.

The rump session is scheduled for Wednesday evening (January 20).

Food and drinks will be provided during the whole rump session.

Submission of abstracts (tentative parameters)

Submission format:

• Length: one paragraph to one page.
• Document format: text, ps, or pdf.
• Duration indication: document has to contain intended duration of presentation: 2 to 10 minutes.

Submission deadline: Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at noon (still during the conference!).

Notification: Tuesday, January 19, 2010, early evening.
